My Goals
Since 1999, I’ve been consulting, instructing, and writing software in Applied Statistics, primarily for my more than 140 clients in the Medical Device, Biologics, and Pharmaceutical industries. My goals are to help companies perform statistical tasks correctly, accurately, and simply — while I try to ensure that they understand what they are doing.
(STARTING IN 2025) I NOW PROVIDE FREE CONSULTATION AND/OR DATA ANALYSIS TO ANYONE, unless they require a lot of my time or require a formal response from me (in which case, I charge an hourly rate).
I now provide FREE RECORDINGS OF WEBINARS that I’ve given in recent years. See the “FREE-Webinars” link at the top of this page.
I also now provide FREE STATISTICAL SOFTWARE. See 3 spreadsheets in the “Publications” section below; also, see “FREE-Validated Software” link at top of this page for 9 other spreadsheets and their validation reports; I also provide here online FREE webinars on how to use my validated software.
Specialties
I do NOT perform analysis of clinical trials data, nor help with establishing or justifying sample size for clinical trials.
I specialize in the following:
— Confidence/Reliability Calculations, especially Reliability Plotting
— Statistical Process Control, and Process Capability calculations
— Metrology (e.g. Gage R+R)
— Normality Tests and Normality Transformations
— Sampling Plans

COMMENTS by university professors (two of whom are statisticians) on The History of Correlation:
“Very impressive scholarly work.”
“Great job; excellent educational value.”
“It succeeds in illuminating a century and the way scientists work and write. A huge effort that repays the reader whether they just dive in here or there or go full immersion.”
